Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club (@stewartcreekgolf) is tucked right under the Three Sisters, and there's something about that view that makes everyone slow down and look up. It's one of our favourite places in Canmore to photograph a wedding because the setting does so much of the storytelling: wide fairways, tall evergreens, and mountains that shift colour as the sun moves across the valley. We like to keep portraits relaxed here. A walk along the course, a quiet spot in the trees, and a few minutes as the evening light turns gold are usually all it takes. The clubhouse gives the reception a warm, easy feel, with the peaks still filling the windows as the party gets going. As a Calgary wedding photographer, we love the short drive out to Canmore for days like this, with everyone a little more relaxed in the mountain air. Planning a mountain wedding of your own?
