William Prince is a two-time JUNO Award winner, taking Contemporary Roots Album of the Year in 2017 and again in 2024. On August 13, 2025, he married Alyshia at Azuridge Estate Hotel in Priddis, just outside Calgary. We were honoured to capture their wedding.
Getting Ready
The day started slow and soft: ivory heels, the invitation from Mikaella Writes, and their rings tucked into a bouquet of peach and white blooms by Flower Artistry.
Alyshia got ready in her suite at Azuridge, with hair and makeup by Something Borrowed.
One of our favourite moments of the whole day: Alyshia braiding Wyatt's hair before the ceremony. Wyatt stood up as co-best man, and he wore it proudly.
William's details told their own story, his guitar never far away.
Then a first look with her dad, and not a dry eye in the trees.
Ceremony at Azuridge
At 3 pm, everyone gathered on the lawn at Azuridge, surrounded by forest, with Uptown Strings playing cello and violin. Alyshia crossed the bridge to walk down the aisle.
And right on cue, a hawk circled overhead. You can't plan that.
The ceremony opened with a beautiful traditional welcome song by @lisa_monkman, and a feather smudge blessed the couple and their families. Family friend Linda Nickle led the vows.
Formals and Portraits
The wedding party was all laughs in the pines, and then we stole William and Alyshia away for a quiet walk around the estate.
Reception and Party
Inside, long tables glowed under the timber beams, with rentals by Modern Rentals and SER, sweets by Sweet Relief Pastries, and a little magic from Matt Gore.
Their first dance under the lights from Pez Productions was followed by a dance floor that didn't empty all night.
A Day Full of Heart
Family, song, tradition, and a hawk overhead. Lynn Fletcher Weddings set up the ceremony and reception beautifully, and thanks to their planning the whole day ran smoothly. William and Alyshia, thank you for letting us be part of a day that was so completely yours.
